Flags can be hand-washed with warm water and mild soap, then thoroughly rinsed and spread out to dry. Do not place the flag where the wind will whip it against rough surfaces, tree branches, wires, cables etc. The smallest tear can soon become a tattered flag.
With a combination of cozy alpaca and Virgin Wool, Whirligig and Whirligigette will add a touch of decadence to your projects. These gigantic yarn cakes make a special gift for crafters or will give âa little something extraâ to your finished projects. A perfect and very special yarn for knitters and crocheters alike, the yarn glides through the hands and provides a truly luxurious crafting experience.

The major enemies of a flag are wind, rain, sun and lack of care. Whilst it is not possible to control the weather, you can take care of your flag to lengthen its life such as taking it down overnight. Wherever possible, do not expose your flag to rain, snow or abnormally high winds. These conditions will shorten its life considerably.
Whirligig and Whirligigette work together. Whirligig is a gentle colour changing yarn and its 'sister yarn' Whirligigette is a matching single colour. These yarns can be used in combination with each other as they are the same fiber content and weight.
