I had the honor of fostering Gus (or as my kiddo called him, Gus Gus). Gus came to RMFBR deaf and with neuro problems, but was without a doubt the SWEETEST dog. Knowing the countless hours Kelly spends to find the right foster for each and every Frenchie she rescues, I was elated when she picked ME! We got almost 2 months with Gus where we spoiled him rotten and drown him in love. His health deteriorated and ultimately crossed the rainbow bridge. If it wasn't for Kelly and RMFBR, Gus may not have known how truly wonderful he was, or what being adored really felt like. I swear Kelly is a saint, and I couldn't think of a more deserving organization to receive generous donations to ensure any Frenchies needing saving CAN be helped by the best! - Heather S

Every dog surrendered to a rescue or shelter needs a home. All of these dogs often need extensive medical care before they can be placed into a Furever Home. Dog lovers, responsible breeders, and the care givers of these animals also see this as a problem. Many of these same people are the community stakeholders as well, who would like not only to see these animals adopted into loving homes, but to see programs instituted to educate about responsible breeding practices and what prospective French bulldog owners should be aware of and prepared for if they should decide to get a Frenchie.

Online giants Amazon, eBay and Etsy are joining retailers Walmart and Sears in banning the sale of items featuring images of the Confederate flag, as a wave of opposition to the divisive historical symbol builds in the wake of a racially motivated massacre in Charleston, South Carolina, last week.
