But, I was taken aback when I saw McCain's name was neatly blacked out with what looked to be a black magic marker, while Palin's name remained intact.  It looked as though the bumper sticker had originally been on his car for a while and that he got down on his knees (at least) and meticulously took time to neatly draw line after line through McCain's name and leave Palin's untouched.  What a statement.  If he had just been disenchanted with the campaign, he could've just taken the whole bumper sticker off.  But, no, he wanted to boldly proclaim his obvious displeasure and break with McCain, while still boldly proclaiming his affection/alliance with dear Sarah.

I then happened to notice that the other sticker on this person's car was a McCain/Palin sticker.  Well no surprise there.  As mentioned earlier, if he's riding around with the bumper sticker from the 2006 loser of a Senate race, then of course he's going to have a recent Republican sticker on his car.

This morning, I see a car with an old Republican sticker from a 2006 Republican candidate who lost.  That usually indicates the owner of the sticker is a loyal member of that political party.  Sort of like seeing a Kerry/Edwards sticker in 2008 or most recently a Hillary sticker.  No offense, it just usually means this person is fiercely loyal to not just that candidate, but to the political party as well.

So, I'm driving to work this morning.  Since I live in Maryland (close to Washington DC), I usually see lots and lots of Obama bumper stickers; so much so, when I see a Republican sticker I just kind of chuckle in a professorial, condescending, democratic way.

That just spoke volumes to me.  Its like there is this group of Republicans who never liked McCain and only tried to embrace him after he chose Palin.  But, now, something has happened in the last week or two that has completely turned them off again.  I don't know exactly what it could've been.  But, clearly these folks have abandoned McCain and his campaign, conceded defeat in this election, and are already looking ahead to the future and that future, I hate to say, is Palin.

And he did not alter any signature page of the 321z contract. Furthermore, Commander Levy did not tamper with governmental records.”
