United States relief map. Digital shaded-relief map of the continental USA with the American flag superimposed. The Appalachian Mountains lie to the East (at right), with various other highland areas in the West. The outline of the Great Lakes (black) can be seen at upper right. Relief is shown by shadows cast by a simulated Sun in the West. This is known as hill shading. This terrain map, made up of 12 million 1/2 mile by 1/2 mile squares, was created from heights taken from topographic maps. The brightness of each square is based on the relationship of the slope angle and direction to the simulated Sun. This map was made by the United States Geological Survey (USGS).

I have got a court summons for driving offences, but I was not stopped by the police/do not own that car/don't drive, what can I do?
I have received a court summons for driving offences to appear at court (I was not stopped by an officer), what does that mean?
So, although there is not a specific offence, you could commit an offence by having a flag on your car. It is the officer's discretion whether or not to take matters further if he/she feels that an offence has been committed.
