Surprisingly, this former commander in chief of the revolutionary forces loved to dance and was more comfortable being called “general” than “president.” But Washington in the presidency, as in the revolution, was the rock on which a country's dream rested. He was aware of the need to build an executive structure that could accommodate future leaders. And the presidency has proved itself to be the most remarkable political office in history.

The national flag of Yemen was adopted on May 22, 1990, the same day that North Yemen and South Yemen unified. The pattern of red, white and black stripes was also present on the flags of North and South Yemen, and are traditional Arab colors found on the flags of Egypt, Syria, Iraq among others. Our international flags are accurately reproduced to exact specifications. The flag has 2 brass grommets on the left edge for hanging. The 4"x6" size is mounted to a staff with a spear top. Polyester flags are imported and not recommended for prolonged outdoor use. For outdoor use, we recommend our nylon flags. Also available below is an indoor/ceremonial version of the flag with a pole sleeve and gold fringe.
