Nice image, double stitched edges, printed on one side so grommets are on the left. Printing feels smooth, not raised. Can see through flag when held up to light because of fabric type.

Gadsdenflaghistory

Gadsden Flag History: The rattlesnake flags were the product of the southern colonies. One of the first of these was the Gadsden Flag, devised by Colonel Christopher Gadsden, a patriot of South Carolina, and presented to Congress with the expressed desire that it be designated as the flag of the Commander of the American Navy. Congress thanked him for the idea and discussed Benjamin Franklin’s analysis of the Rattlesnake, but declined to incorporate it into law. It is claimed that the Gadsden Flag was flown on the “Alfred” as the personal banner of commander Esek Hopkins, Commander of the American Navy. It was run up by John Paul Jones. The words “Don’t Tread on Me” were evolved from an incident of the times. Lord North had declared that he would never relax his coercive measures until he had brought America to his feet. The sentence is an answer to his Highness and a warning as well. It said, that should he accomplish his purpose, it would be as dangerous to tread on America as it would be to tread on her symbol – the American rattler.

It should be clearly stated that this flag is backward on the reverse, and that this is "standard on flags made in the U.S." as the customer service person informed me. It's a nice flag, though.

This brand new 3’x 5′(91×152 cm) flag is screen printed with full color images and lighter reverse image on back. It is made of 100% durable, lightweight super polyester fabric weighing approximately 4 to 6 oz. thus enabling flying in the slightest breeze. It is suitable for indoor use or for flying in light to moderate wind areas as well as in wet weather conditions. There are two rust-free brass grommets in the canvas header on the left side for easy mounting on flag poles or hanging banner style from ceilings or walls. It is machine washable and dryer safe with run resistant colors. We use 10 flag manufacturers in order to maintain our high quality of accuracy to detail and clearness of print. We will not lower our quality in order to compete on price alone. I have seen these flags as high as $18.00 in Florida and California. If unhappy with any of our product just return for a full refund. We can and do make mistakes but will correct them immediately upon being told of the problem.

Not as high quality as the Tex flag but still a nice flag to fly. The best part about it is it's American made. A bit expensive for quality.
